In today’s SMT electronics factories, the increasing variety of machine types, small batches, and frequent line changes have made the task of first article inspection increasingly heavy. Traditional methods of SMT first article inspection not only waste manpower and are inefficient, but also lack control throughout the inspection process, failing to guarantee quality. To address this challenge, a first article inspection machine has been designed.

The SMT Intelligent Inspection System integrates CAD coordinates, BOM lists, and first article PCB silkscreen printing intelligently. The system automatically records measurement data without allowing manual data entry, eliminating human errors and omissions. II. Working Mode:

Import the BOM list and PCB component placement coordinates. The software intelligently synthesizes and globally calibrates the coordinates with drawings (silkscreen) and BOM, ensuring that component coordinates, BOM, and actual component positions on images correspond one-to-one. By navigating to measurement targets, LCR reads data automatically corresponding to respective locations and automatically judges the inspection results. This eliminates human measurement errors and omissions and automatically generates test reports stored in the database.
